40th Annual NISD Golf Tournament and Conference

Software is proud to be sponsoring this year’s golf tournament and concurrently
exhibiting at the NISD Annual Conference. The golf tournament will be held at
the Arizona Biltmore Links Course on May 29th, whilst the conference will be
held at the Embassy Suites Phoenix – Biltmore from May 30th through to the 31st
This challenging links course is set against the skyline of Phoenix, Scottsdale
and the distant mountains and features rolling fairways, desert ravines and five
lakes
This years conference key speakers include Roger Ferch (AISC President), Duff
Zimmerman (SEAA President-elect), Peter Timler (Western Regional Director of the
CISC), Reidar Bjorhovde (a T.R. Higgins award winner), and Don Oborowsky (Waiward
Steel President).
 Some
of the new features we will be presenting from StruCad at this conference
include new modeling tools for connection detailing in the form of an innovative
Connection Wizard. We will also be showcasing a superior Shape Creation module
which uses a new graphical interface, enhancing drafting speed and increasing
flexibility. Just some of the many additional benefits incorporated in our
latest release include; enhancements to the StruCad CAM Data and Post Processors
for maximum CNC compatibility, further improvements to our industry leading
automatic drawing output system and significant updates for increased efficiency
and greater integration.
We will also be available to demonstrate some of the advanced features that we
have implemented in our latest release of StruM.I.S .NET. One such feature is
the new workflow driven interface, which will make implementation
straightforward for new users, while providing faster and more intuitive access
to key functions for our existing users. In addition we have incorporated a new
Contracts Budget module that allows users to track all contract related costs.
This allows for the ease of comparison between estimated and actual costs
incurred. An all new Document Management module enables maintenance of a
document database, facilitating transmittals for the issuing of new documents
and managing the distribution of revised documentation.
