IDDC EPL makes
significant investment in StruCad
AceCad Software
is delighted to announce that a significant investment in our StruCad software
has just been made by Infrastructure Development and Design Consultancy
Engineers (IDDC EPL) of
Mumbai,
India . As
global leaders in providing technical solutions to infrastructure projects IDDC
EPL recognized the importance of selecting the most productive structural steel
software for their detailing team.
AceCad shares IDDC EPL’s vision to continue to be the leader and to provide
software enabling cost effective, innovative designs and detailing for all steel
structures. Further, by working with IDDC closely AceCad has been able to make
this vision a reality through the provision of StruCad which is well known to
bring significant efficiencies throughout the drafting process and beyond into
fabrication. Just one of the criteria that resulted in IDDC EPL’s decision to
select StruCad was the accuracy of the fabrication drawings produced.
Fabrication drawings are automatically produced by StruCad, resulting in
significant confidence in the product and substantial time saved checking,
editing and rechecking, a significant burden imposed by older software. Another
productivity benefit identified by the project team at IDDC EPL was the
automatic connection library within StruCad which can be modified to personal
requirements and has been shown to dramatically increase the speed of detailing
over other software products. These factors and many others including the
reputation of AceCad Software Ltd and StruCad, as the World’s Leading 3D Steel
Detailing system convinced IDDC EPL that there was only one choice for their
software requirements.
This latest development is a substantial coup for the new AceCad Software Ltd (
India) office, which will conduct on site training and provide ongoing support.
Since its establishment AceCad Software Ltd (
India) has gone from strength to strength and
is pleased to report significant growth in the region for AceCad’s entire
portfolio of detailing, analysis and fabrication management products.
