Substantially Increases Productivity
Jongejans Staalbouw (Holland)
switched to StruCad several years ago after experiencing issues with another 3D
modelling system and by late 2003 had moved completely to StruCad - the World's
leading 3D Steel Detailing System.

was recently asked by their contact at Jongejans Staalbouw ‘How can we make our
draughtsmen even more productive with the StruCad detailing system?’ The answer
from ICCS BV
was of course; ‘make more use of the connection libraries and you will realise
even greater productivity than you are already achieving’.
This advice was taken on board by the draughtsmen at Jongejans Staalbouw and
following some further advanced training work with ICCS BV they learned even more about the
power of the true parametric connection macros within StruCad and became
convinced that by adapting them to their own specific requirements they could
significantly increase their productivity!
A substantial increase in productivity has subsequently been realised by the
draughtsmen at Jongejans Staalbouw and is attributed to both the benefits of
swapping to StruCad and additionally the utilisation of the powerful macros
within the StruCad system. Ben Verhoef of Jongejans Staalbouw claims that
‘the StruCad system was always substantially
quicker and this is now particularly evident when detailing larger structures
where the powerful macros result in truly significant time savings over the
other 3D modelling system’.
